Our group’s collaborative work with KAIST on membrane-based crude oil fractionation was highlighted in a Nature Research Briefing. The feature explores how an inexpensive porous membrane can separate lighter hydrocarbons from crude oil without heat, potentially reducing the energy and carbon footprint of conventional refining.
